Guitars & Modules

Can I test a MagTone guitar before buying?
Yes, you can request a MagTone Classic-T demo via our website – free shipping & return included for a 14-day trial. Use one of the forms either on the "Home" or the "Guitars" Page.
How does the modular pickup system work?
Our electric guitars feature a magnetic module that lets you swap the entire electronics in seconds – no need to remove strings.
Which pickup configurations are available?
We offer modules with humbuckers, single coils, P90s, and custom pickup sets – optimized for various musical styles.
What wood is used in MagTone guitars?
Our modular guitars are made from locally sourced baswood or maple wood, with fingerboards crafted from maple or laurel.
How are the modules built?
Modules are crafted from baswood or maple. Standard versions are sealed to show the wood grain, while Deluxe versions feature colored finish.
Can I order empty modules for DIY wiring?
Yes, we offer fully empty modules (routing only) or half-loaded modules without pickups – all compatible with MagTone guitars.
Do you offer custom guitars or modifications?
Yes! Our "Custom Shop" builds fully customized instruments – with or without modular systems – to your exact specs.
What if I can't find the pickup module I need?
We offer custom-built modules with your choice of pickups and wiring. Contact us through the "Modules & Pedals" section to request yours.

LightBeat Guitar Pedals

How does the LightBeat pedal work?
It displays an incoming click track via LED pulses – ideal for musicians playing live without in-ear monitoring.
What does the knob/potentiometer do?
You can adjust LED brightness or input sensitivity – perfect for bright stages or sensitive audio inputs.
What's the difference between LightBeat and LightBeat Deluxe?
Both show the same signal. The Deluxe version adds a footswitch and customizable LED and enclosure colors.
How do I turn off the LightBeat pedal?
Turn the knob fully counterclockwise. The Deluxe version can also be toggled via footswitch.
What signal does the pedal require?
Any standard line-level click signal from a metronome, mixer, or DAW – connected via 6.3 mm jack input.

Ordering & Delivery

How long does it take to receive a MagTone guitar?

Our modular guitars are built to order in Germany. Estimated delivery: 2–4 weeks (Germany), 2–6 weeks (Europe), 4–12 weeks (Worldwide).

How fast are LightBeat pedals and accessories shipped?

Delivery time: ~1 week (Germany), ~2 weeks (EU), ~4 weeks (Worldwide). Customizations may add 1–2 weeks.

Can I return a product?

Of course! You have 14 days return policy and a 2-year warranty on all MagTone products.
